Chocolate Avocado Frosting
Smooth and creamy and just a little bit decadent. Our Chocolate Avocado Frosting is perfect for frosting cupcakes and slices or maybe an afternoon tea fondant with Banana’s and Strawberries.
Ingredients
150g very ripe avocado flesh (approx 1 x 300g avocado)
1 tspn vanilla extract
2 tspns tahini
2 tspns cacao butter, melted
24g /cup cacao powder
20ml / 1 tblspn agave nectar
Method
Combine all ingredients in a food processor until a beautiful smooth ‘icing’ consistency. You may need to scrape down the sides every now and then to make sure all ingredients are incorporated.
It is best to make up a batch of this Chocolate Avocado Frosting right before you use it. Left overs can be stored in the fridge for a days and will still taste yummy.
