Very Berry Smoothie

Super Berry Smoothie
 

Create a summer vibe with our Very Berry Smoothie bowl, topped with our Seriously Great Granola. Breakfast in minutes and gorgeous enough to enjoy for brunch with friends in this fun coconut bowl!

2 large or 3 small serves

Ingredients

250g strawberries (see note)

100g watermelon (see note)

1 medjool date, pit removed

15g / 1 tablespoon goji berries

15g / 1 tablespoon cranberries

¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon flaxmeal

2 teaspoons black chia seeds

Vanilla Yoghurt

Raspberries and Blueberries

Coconut flakes or shreds

Method

Add the strawberries, watermelon, date, goji berries, cranberries, vanilla, flaxmeal and chia seeds to a high speed blender and blend until smooth. Place in the fridge for at least 15 minutes to allow the chia seeds to absorb some liquid to thicken.

Serve the Superberry Smoothie with some yoghurt swirled on top and place the raspberries and blueberries on with Seriously Great Granola and coconut flakes around the edge.

Note

If using fresh strawberries, use frozen watermelon. If using fresh watermelon, use 100g of frozen strawberries and the remainder fresh. All frozen strawberries makes it hard to blend. Choose fruit that is deep red in colour as the brightness of the smoothie bowl depends on the depth of colour of these two fruits.
